“À Table!”: French luminaries create their dream tables for an upcoming auction, Architectural Digest.

The Rebel Table of the Lovestruck Lobster,a table setting assembled by**Mony Linz-Einstein of Paris’s Galerie Epoca for Sotheby’s Paris’s upcoming “À Table!” auction, includes a papier-mâché candelabra painted red by Griperay; a pair of Italian parcel-gilt silver double saltcellars, circa 1850; a pair of Portuguese gilt-metal five-light candelabra by Benigno Aguilar; a set of 28 Chinese porcelain plates from the Kangxi period; a set of 12 English silver-gilt plates engraved with the Rothschild coat of arms; and a porcelain egg cup shaped like a rooster.
